Yoga Detour
May 27 & 28, 2017

Engage with theory and movement while exploring pelvic floor imbalance and it’s consequences, along with pelvic pain and the connection between the pelvic floor and nervous system.

Through a trauma and cultural lens, develop solutions to the challenges faced by movement practitioners through the peripartum period. Opportunities to put this information into the language of a movement teacher will be provided, with time spent on various means of communication and integration.

Integrate Relaxation, Rhythm and Ritual into the movement practice, emphasizing breath work and visualizations to create a safe space for effective private and group prenatal classes.
